The Great Passion Play...
Last night we took all the kids in my Teen Class that had Perfect Attendance for 12 weeks to The Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs, AR. We do not live too far from there. It is an outdoor play about Jesus. It was awesome! That was the first time I had ever been there. I was not allowed to take pictures during the play, but did get a few of us.
The evening started out with pouring rain and a lot more rain coming in the forecast, so we thought it might be canceled. Charles and I decided that we would still try to go. Charles prayed that it would stop raining. It rained the whole way there and while we were eating at The Passion Play Buffet (which by the way, I do not recommend). But, after we were finished eating the rain stopped and did not rain the rest of the night! The weather was beautiful! Thank the Lord!
We all had a really nice time! Shawn and Lori, a couple from our church and good friends of ours, helped us out by taking some of the group with them. 9 out of 10 kids that had Perfect Attendance got to come with us. It was an evening I will remember for a long time. I just love my kids! They are all so special to me!

thank you for sharing...Ruth and I was eating supper last evening...i said to Ruth...wonder when Charles and co are going to E Springs...maybe we should see about meeting them there....so I called C and he said you all was there then...so at least we thought about you.....thank you for sharing....love

It's been a long time since I was at the Passion Play. One time when we went I was pregnant with Darrell and so sick that the memories still make me feeling like throwing up :) ha. But it's a great place and I'm glad you were able to take your kids. You are doing a great job with them. I admire your ability to work with them!
