Birthday Cakes...
Yesterday, we had a Church Birthday Dinner. We celebrated all the birthdays from July~Sept. Everyone had a nice time and there was so much Yummy food! I thought I would share a few pictures of the cakes that I made for the occasion. It has been a while since I have made a cake. I have seen many people use silk flowers for their decorations, but have never tried it myself. Wow! I think I will be doing that more often. So much easier than making them with frosting! And a lot less stressful too! :~)
The Birthday Crew:
Bruce, Betty, Dee, Rona, Joyce
Melba Dean, Thomas, and Wendell

The smaller cake that I made was for a girl in my Sunday School class who also just had a Birthday. I made that cake in a hurry as you can probably tell. :~) I was having trouble putting lettering on the cake and messed it up. So, I just covered it in leaves. Ha Ha! I was unable to get a picture of her with her cake because my batteries in my camera needed to be charged. Bummer!

If I were there...you would be the winner of a huge bag of candy corn! I like the lettering you used on the birthday cake! Your new background makes me want to light my pumpkin wcented candle and change the background on my blog! Love ya...
