I'm Still Here...

With Christmas right around the corner and everything else that goes along with it, needless to say, it's been quite a busy time. Our Christmas Program is this coming Sunday Night and my Teen Class is putting on a Puppet Production. They are getting very excited and have worked their little hearts (and hands) very hard for the past several weeks. Now it is crunch time to get everything just right and we have practiced and practiced and practiced. It has been really great to be with them and to work with them on this. I will post pictures after the program.

Also, one of our dear church members has not been well. She is up in years and has recently had a knee operation. She has not done well afterwards. In fact, on Tuesday morning we got a call from one of the family members and found out that she was not going to make it. Our hearts were deeply saddened and we went to the hospital to be with her. She did not look well when we arrived. They had just unhooked everything on her and was getting prepared for Hospice. While we were there with her, we sang some choruses with her and we prayed with her. God came in a mighty way. I have never seen anything like it. She came to and started raising her hand and saying "Praise God" with tears running down. We left around 3 pm that day. At 4 pm she sat up and started talking and asking for food. She said that she wasn't going to Heaven just yet because God has touched her. By the next day they had her out of bed and walking. God is so good!!! What a miracle!!! I feel blessed to be a witness to such and amazing and miraculous event!!! Praise the Lord!!!

GOD IS THE WORKER OF MIRACLES!!!

Another blessing that God has given us was all the meat that you see below! Someone affiliated with our church gave us a WHOLE PIG!!! We are so very thankful!!! Thank you so much, Gary! May God richly bless you!

In other news, Nate, Charles and I are leaving today around 3 pm to travel to Oklahoma to see Glenn Beck! We are very excited about going. My dear In~Laws are keeping all of the kids for us in Kansas. I just hope we get them back, as they are expecting a snow storm. Please pray for our safety as OK is expecting snow too.

Well, I better go get ready to head out before too long. I still have a lot to do to get ready for the program before we leave today. Thanks for all of the comments! I do read them even though I am a little slow to responding to them. :~)

Have a Wonderful Weekend!

Good luck and happy travels. Be careful and we will be waiting "patiently" to hear all about your trip and Glenn Beck.
